Amanda of Scroll Tree Osteopathy

My background, Osteopathically speaking, is rooted in healing through the wisdom of the heart.  My research with the College d’Etudes Osteopathique as well as with the British College of Osteopathic Medicine was centered around studying the heart as the primary conduit of health in the individual in a physical, psychoemotional, and spiritual sense. My research outcomes support the idea that the heart has the power to heal not only ourselves, but those around us when we attune to it and balance our lives around it.  This direction of study has led me to explore related philosophies in differing cultures around the globe such as TCM and Ayruveda that have been working with the heart as a major player in healthcare for thousands of years.  My hope is to help others work with their heart centres in order to restore harmony to their body, mind, and spirit.

Personally speaking, I am committed to growth, education, and experience.  I have 2 beautiful children who teach me what it is to be a human every day.  My interests include poetry (both in reading and writing), art, travel, international cuisine, and all things Ocean.  Osteopathy has been my greatest teacher and has allowed me to live and practise life through my heart.  I especially enjoy working with pre/post-natal mothers and their babies although I am happy to work with everyone.  I am very grateful to be able to share this practise with everyone who is on a journey to restore and maintain health.
